On 27th April the New Zealand Culinary Team including Blanket Bay’s Executive Chef Jason Dell and Chef De Partie Gina Finlay realised their goals when they finished 4th overall at the 2006 FHA Culinary Championships in Singapore and were awarded a Gold Medal for their 'Live Hot Cooking' and a Bronze Medal for their 'Cold Table Display'.
The FHA Culinary Challenge took place at the Singapore Expo Centre and saw The New Zealand Culinary Team pitting their skills and competition acumen against 7 other International teams including – Germany, Switzerland, Singapore, South Africa, Czech Republic and Malaysia.
